Charity C. Hyde is the managing attorney of Perez Morris Hyde. She oversees much of the firm’s litigation in the Northeast. Her core practice includes premises liability, aviation-related litigation, motor vehicle liability, products liability, toxic torts and insurance fraud investigation. Charity is experienced in leading multi-attorney teams and representing commercial entities, retailers, restaurants, food manufacturers, municipalities and large manufacturing clients in complex, high exposure litigation in several states. She served as national coordinating counsel for a large, international manufacturing company for over a decade.
Charity also has extensive defense litigation expertise . She has arbitrated hundreds of cases and tried many to verdict with favorable results. She participated in the investigation and civil prosecution of individuals who submit fraudulent insurance claims, including several medical providers.
Prior to joining the firm, she was an equity partner at a large Philadelphia-based litigation firm. While in law school, Charity clerked for the Honorable Arnold L. New of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. She also was a legal intern in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Charity resides in Philadelphia with her husband, Matthew and enjoys spending time with her family and pets, sailing, reading, and being active in her community.
