Lindsay joined the firm in 2015 and works in the employment and litigation departments. Lindsay’s employment focus is on providing management-side counsel to private and public sector employers on workplace issues and defending employers in discrimination charges and employment disputes. She also practices in commercial and construction litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Lindsay worked in both the public and private sectors. As a Senior Assistant Attorney General, she represented several public colleges and universities, including serving as general counsel to two colleges. Lindsay provided legal counsel to these institutions in diverse matters such as labor and employment, board governance, compliance and ethics, contract drafting and negotiation, policy and procedure drafting, insurance, student privacy and discipline, public records and open meetings, intellectual property rights, and construction. She also represented state agencies such as the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Commerce. In the private sector, Lindsay worked as a senior associate at a large Columbus law firm, focused in the areas of intellectual property, environmental, constitutional, and construction disputes. Lindsay is licensed to practice in Ohio state courts, the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Sixth Circuit, and before the United States Supreme Court.
Lindsay received her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Albion College in 1999 and her law degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2002. She is an active member of the American Bar Association, serving as a writer and editor for the ABA’s Litigation News publication.
Lindsay and her husband, Chad, live in Worthington with their daughter and enjoy traveling, being active in their community, and working on their house.
